As the holiday season creeps closer, one of my favorite Elizabethtown traditions is just around the corner: the annual Christmas Light Up Etown Parade and Tree Lighting! I can already feel the excitement buzzing in the air as our community gears up for this festive event. Mark your calendars, friends, because on Friday, December 6, 2024, at 7PM the streets of Elizabethtown will light up with holiday cheer, and you won't want to miss it.

What to expect at Light Up Etown

Now, if you’ve never been to Light Up Etown, let me give you a little glimpse of what you're in for. This parade is one of those experiences that just makes you fall in love with Elizabethtown even more. We’re talking dazzling lights, holiday music, and a lineup of festive floats that’ll make you feel like a kid again. The parade will kick off at 7 pm, and you can catch all the magic as it travels southbound on West Dixie Avenue, starting from Saint John Road and making its way to the Downtown Square.
